I chased a similar issue for two years. one day the alternator died. After I replaced it, the drain was no longer present

this is a great car, and the manual shift are getting hard to find.
It also has new oem springs and Bilstein HDs. Handles better than new.
I hate to sell it, but can't justify having two SUVs right...

I think a Z3 shifter would shorten the throw considerably, but would add a bit of effort. I am curious to try a weighted ZHP shift knob soon. It is shorter than the stock knob, and the wieght should...
