Good job on the R&R , I like the jack too but you went and used the swingset lumber diddnt you ? I would suggest you find a used trans , it will make things alot simpler .

Yes I agree , oil seperator . The oil is collecting in the intake due to the PCV not draining back to the oil pan , my 4.6 did the same thing and one day a cylinder took a gulp of oil from the intake...

Being it relies on gravity to drain then the only place I can think of is to tee it into the dipstick tube but that is a cold spot due to the cooling fan, I am thinking it will ice up.
