No, the weight of the oil should't cause that. I'd stick to OEM BMW 5-30 oil or Mobil 1 0-40 euro formula (BMW spec met) if you can't get the OEM oil.

Looks good, I would just match the fogs with the Angel eyes and call it a day. I have them on my E46 and they haven't had any issues the year that I've had them.

There should be a sticker on the bottom of your transmission that tells you. It depends on where you live and what the shop rates are. I got quoted 300 but that may differ from what you get.

I change mine every 7K miles or so on my own even though the service oil light doesn't come on. I plan on keeping mine for a while so preventative maintenance is what its all about.
