Glossy

The reduced pictures to allow the upload doesn't truly represent what it looks like in person. Its glossy and looks brand new. Obviously there is glare when the sun is out but it has not bothered...

Add me to list of removing the anti glare coating with Plastx and reinstalling it with no screen protector. The results are amazing. The glare to me is acceptable and it looks brand new. Not sure...

Exhaust Manifold Gasket - Part 11621732969

Exhaust Manifold Gasket is the proper term. The heat shield exposed is integral. Below is a picture of them.

I said the same thing. The funny thing is my local BMW dealer actually solved this problem for me. I should add they quoted $1,000+ to replace them because the whole exhaust manifold has to come...

Completely different thing. The OFHG is accessed from top of engine by removing air box, fan, power steering res., belt/pulley, and alternator.

Oil filter housing gasket replaced due to leak. Dealer did is for $550 out the door which I think is pretty damn good considering I also got a 16 528xi for the day.

I can tell you the insulation on the cold weather...

I can tell you the insulation on the cold weather system means little to nothing...you need to come up with a mayo management plan if your a short tripper like myself....this includes oil cap removal...
