Went to buy a new battery and found out here in OZ that the OEM one...

Hi all

I need to replace the auxillary fan on my 02 3.0 X5
Wondering if anyone here has done this themselves
Is it a big job? do I have to remove the front bumper at all?

BMW Australia want $A1500 to fix it for me.

My X5 T-Bones a Hyundai

Had an accident today when a Hyundai Excel turned in front of me.
I was travelling at about 70kmh and saw it coming. I had a chance to slow to about 30kmh when we impacted, my airbags didn't deploy...

Strangely my 01 build 3.0 has neither the chime or warning light when I dont use the seat belt?
The chime works at other times ie: lights on ,boot open.
Do you think something is wrong?
