Is the GPS receiver internal in the MKII? I thought that it was external in a fashion that I'd have to get some more parts to make it work because it doesn't have the antenna connector on the back?

I'm not sure what the previous version was because it had issues when I got it. It was the blank screen with the white bar across the bottom. At what point would I insert the key cd with this issue?...
