replaced an alternator. not terrible at $370 for a Valeo brand/oe brand from amazon.

this is at 209k miles. seems to have been the original alternator. Battery icon/charging Lamp came on the way...

Put in come cataclean in the tank and drove it for about 20 mins and the catalyst passes without a code. Previously, po420 and po430 was in pending status, now only po430 is pending.

Similar issue on my 07 3.0si. Didn’t pass smog due to po420 and 430. I was going to install defoulers but there isn’t much room around the bank 2 sensors.

Get the genuine BMW if you want a quiet fan at lower speeds.

Got it, thanks. I think I’ll go for the Monroe spectrums. I’m not looking for a stiffer ride, just more rebound than the worn struts.

I'm pretty sure my front struts are blown and would rather replace them with non adaptive struts. $100 vs $1000...
