Im going to have to agree spend the $200 dollors. I have a 2001 X5 and I have had to spend some money here and there on it but always seems to be the little things...it's never been anything major....

now that I read the reply's I would say SHUTTER...

now that I read the reply's I would say SHUTTER would be a more accurate word..I did find a very small tear in the CCV tube....I covered the hole with electrical tape for now till the part comes...

mine did the same thing. when you placed the oil...

mine did the same thing. when you placed the oil plug back in did you replace the metal o-ring on the bolt. I didn't at first and it leaked horribly. changed it and all whent back to normal.
