Thank you all....... But I tried all the suggestions, and still, nothing, but i was able to get rid of the instrument cluster (boot lid open) problem by adjusting the locking mechanism...

Hello.... I had a similar problem with my 4.4i (2003) after replacing the fuel filter, apparently someone installed a non oem filter, and after replacing to an oem filter all was well....
