But from what I can tell, the issue is not the exhaust diameter, but the bumper trim/cutout. I haven't taken delivery yet, but can the bumper cutout for exhaust be easily changed?

Thanks JCL. I tend to agree with you... But since reading the BMW sites, I am seeing wide use of them. I've been "playing" with domestics primarily, I hadn't seen much use of spacers.
