All good things must come to an end
This winter has brought out a plague of gremlins in my X5. minor ones
hood wont open..outside driver door handle doesnt open door... major....enginfailsafe keeps popping on. moon roof track toast.....

speed/tach malfuntioning
Seems i got gremlins :/ started the X this morning all was fine.. stopped for coffee and when i started it the speedo/tack gas and temp didnt work.. drove to work.. got let go from job.. started up...

Finally found the code and paired my HTC EVO 4G to my 05 X5..
The key was to pair them after you start the vehicle with in the first minute.. OBC takes awhile to connect to phone and then hit your...

4x4 warning brake light
Well this morning after about 20 miles of 70mph highway driving the Brake light and the 4x4 lights popped on after i tapped my breaks to disingage the cruise..
Stoped when i could and turned off...

Boy do i feel like a fool for not swaping the switch module to begin with :yikes:
all my problem was a faulty switch!!! window works fine when connected to the master switch.. a new one from ECS...
