The classification system is definitely intended to be gamed. Stretching out 235s onto 10 inch wide wheels...

Hmm, I understand the drifting part. Our courses are set up to be safe if there is little to no 4 wheel drifting, but as far as being competitive, do you just have too many points to make it work in...

I would be very hesitant to autocross the X5. The local BMWCCA chapter doesn't allow them for a reason.

You should be fine, as long as you don't hit anything...

I've spoken to a few techs about it. They all agreed it is the valve stem seals, though it's a very expensive job. Maybe that's why they want to do it?
