Ditto. I'd like to hear how one achieves 20 mpg in the x50i. I should say, "averaging" 20 mpg. It's not difficult to get 20 mpg on the highway getting from point A to B. But, to average 20 mpg after...

I have 20" Bridgestone Dueler HP Sport RFTs and was running 36 psi all around. But I noticed this doesn't provide the best "even" tread wear. So, I changed it to 41 psi all around and noticed an...

If you're going to a good alignment shop, you won't need to tell them the settings for camber and toe. Just tell them you want "even" tread wear and they'll adjust accordingly.

If it's repairable, would you consider it? Your insurance may cover the entire cost if you choose to repair instead of replace. Just a thought.

Apparently, this is normal oil consumption. I think mine needed a quart after ~3000 miles. Just go to your dealer and they can top it off.

Curious, did you hit something while backing up causing the rear glass to shatter? I can't imagine backing out of the garage causing that much damage.

Nice!

Is your hood latched all the way? Appears to have quite a gap from the second pic by the headlamp-unit.

10/10

I believe October 2010 or 10/10 (build date) was the start of the new TPMS units. So for your vehicle, you'll need TPMS units that are pre-10/10.

CobraGuy, was the noise like a high-pitched hum/drone? Above 40 MPH, was it constant or intermittent (sound cuts in and out)?
Trying to figure out if I'm experiencing the same issue. Thanks.

Hi All,

Just picked up a used 2011 X5 x50i. Loving the torque. It didn't have the sport option, so I found a set of 333M wheels. I'll have the wheel arch extensions installed next week.

Same wheel bolts?

I have a non-Sport x50i with stock 18".

Going to the 20" 333M wheel, can I use the existing wheel bolts or do I need new ones specific for the 333M?

Thanks.
