All I had to do was take a long, narrow object...

All I had to do was take a long, narrow object (screwdriver, pen, pencil, etc.) and insert it into the vent on each side to open the flaps from within.

I finally had some time to check it out today...

I finally had some time to check it out today after getting off work and I can definitely hear air near the vents so the blower is getting air there. I will dismantle the rear console this weekend...

I have a 2005 4.4 and I've noticed that no air comes through the rear vents for backseat passengers. What could cause this and is there anyway of fixing it? (Both vents ARE opened)
