I was able to remove Nav for an existing order on a 2008 4.8i today, so Nav is NOT standard this year.

As of today in the BMW-DCS ordering system you cannot 'de-select' navigation on the X5 4.8i. So who knows what to expect. It may be standard in the 2008 US 4.8i's.

Oh! And they finally added an easy way to input digits while on a handsfree bluetooth phone call. Previously if you were calling to check a bank balance or anything else that needed numerical keypad...
