So, a quick search through the E70 forum reveals...

So, a quick search through the E70 forum reveals the answer to one of my questions.

Looks like E70 4.8's do have the coolant pipe problem. Amazing that BMW didn't do anything to rectify this .....

Hi

I have a 2006 E53 4.4i Sport (N62 engine) that I really like. Its done around 100K miles and I still love the way it drives .. and looks.

However it has begun to exhibit three problems...

As you predicted, my late-model 2006 X5 does not have an IBS on its negative battery cable....
