Changed front wheel bearings, cv axles, both giubos, and subframe bushings. Almost scary how smooth it handles again. Still have the rear wheel bearings to do, as well as both rear air bags....

Try clamping the coolant hose going to the heater...

Try clamping the coolant hose going to the heater valve under the hood, and see if it cools off. Might be time for a new one...

The same thing happened to me when I replaced a couple thermostats. I had to disconnect the battery and let it sit for 15 minutes. Connected everything back up, and it was back to normal...
