I tried hot wiring the pins with my home made aux cable and just 300K (three 100K ohm in series) ohm resistor. No Aux with either attempt. What do the .22 caps do ?

I only have the white shroud. There is no black shroud or and other connectors on the wiring harness. So the AUX pins are on the right side where the black shroud should be.

Thanks for your reply but the headliner is not sagging. I looks like it became detached from the sunroof opening. The photos show a metal plate along the rear of the sunroof opening.

I build my Aux cable as per the pdf. I could not find a 300k resistor so I connected three 100K resistor in series. I've tried every pin combination and still no AUX.
