Purchased used with 19k miles. No accident history and clean carfax. Never did PPI since it had warranty when purchased. No sign of accident from my years of inspections as ownership.

Why would anyone do that? Do you have problem with your transfer case? Unplug the cable to X-Drive transfer case and you will be RWD only. You will lose DSC though.
