i removed the intake manifold,water pump, alternator, found that little pipe that goes to the pcv, got alternator tested, found to be faulty, got new alternator. been recommended...

that was a dry test, didn't put any oil in ,the main question is what the little pipe does, as if its just a drain pipe and not really needed I wont pull the intake

few issues. on the old girl. 01 4.4

a few months ago car decided to throw a misfire check light, did some tests and found a fouled plug on 7 (all coils ok, wiring ok) .plug was really oily...

got to this stage :):):):). not that much of a PITA. didn't know there was and extra 2 bolts to remove on the bottom cos the upper sump was still on ,
job to tackle next it remove the PS pump...
