This limitation is the same in the newer iDrive professional versions as well. But the new Mar 07 e60 LCI 5 series will get an update that will allow POI search facility. So I don't see why we can't...

Are you sure? How come the High system disc and the V28 disc works then? I thought the E65/E66 were an anomaly to the rule and was the only iDrive system to use the High version.

Any help?

The disc that came with my 7 series E65 car was a CD and was quite pleased to see that it reads DVDs too. I thought that all 7 series used the High discs.
