It is not possible to install the wheel bearing incorrectly on the X5... our wheel bearing is different to the ones on your X3.

It was obvious which one was ground, and two out of the three remaining pins gave electrical current when supposed to (turn signal, daylights). Fourth wire was dead.

Maybe I should also mention that my taillights are brand new, some ebay stuff previous owner put there. But it doesn't change the fact that no current goes to the plug when brakes are pressed.
