I too am using a copy, do not remember if it is a DVD+R or DVD-R (it's been over a year since I put it in). Heck I do not even remember the version now that I think about it.

So, it seems that my X3 has an Alarm but when I use the key to lock it I do not see light blink or siren beep.

The only thing I am going on is the Rear View Mirror - it has a little red light...

As for my CD ROM issue, it finally ejected! Thank GOD!

Oh, is there a way to disable the Nav "accept" message each time we turn on the car?

Edit:
Never mind I see that v27 allows the message go away after 8 seconds or something.

I just got a 2004 X3 yesterday and I am wondering should I update my Nav OS.

I believe this is the version - SW 4-1/20 but I am not really sure. Perhaps that is some kind of page number.

New Used 2004 X3 Driver Questions

Greetings! My wife and I just picked up a 2004 X3 yesterday. I believe this car basically has everything but the 3.0 engine. Leather, Nav, freaking big sun roof, etc.

So, I have a few questions...
