Got the letter today for the X5 divers side airbag final remedy available.
Visited the dealer and they are ordering it, said it should be in around 2-3 weeks.
Inquired about the passenger side...

Just did this yesterday with a pressure bleeder. Easiest I've ever done. You can access the rear bleed screws without removing the wheels. I took off the fronts for better access. Took about an hour....

I've removed the stickers from both the X5 and the M3 and a 335i using acetone.
Use the kind found in the paint store. I don't think finger nail polish remover is strong enough.
Remove the visors...

If you buy on amazon get the Bosch plugs they are the same as OEM except without the BMW logo. I would not hesitate to use them on my 09 3.0 X5.

I stand corrected. I just checked the box and the NGK plugs say 1/2 turn past finger tight with crush washer.
If you do a search on the 3 series forum you can prob find the actual torque values.

don't know but you can pick the plugs up at amazon for about 1/2 price. Im replacing the plugs in my s65 M3 and the NGK plug boxes say 1/4 turn after finger tight.

I got it out. Tried to grab it through the bulb opening with some needle nose but it got pissed and when to a spot way back in the corner. shook him around toward the front again it finally crawled...
