Yep, it's impossible to open, and I am pretty sure I damaged the pickup tube as well. Really stinks to have to spend $400 on a valve cover for a $10 part

Does anyone recommend any aftermarket...

Is there any way to test this? I had no problem with continuity from the connector to as far back as I could reach. I'm hoping I can use the diagram to find the ECU pinouts

I cut the wires today, installed a 10k resistor and had no luck. Any other suggestions on possible thermistors? Or maybe even a way to test the one in the tank to see if I'm chasing the wrong problem?

I tried the 10k resistor by splicing the wires I did not cut them just removed the wire cover and soldered the resistor in line... with no luck.

Can this be tuned out via Carly...
