Pumped up tyres as 2 were low.
Also Unplugged the ABS and DSC fuse (in the glove box, large fuse). Plugged back in. Error went.

Changed battery, now have all sorts of lights

Changed battery as previous one was dead and could not hold a charge.

Get a battery charger and set it to constant 12v.
Remove licence plate bulb cover, remove bulb, connect positive terminal of battery charger to left bulb terminal,...

Usually happens when the car is cold or hasnt been driven in a day or two.

Reversing - Clunk

I'm getting a clunk when I am reversing in my e53 4.8is.
The clunk is coming from the front passenger side (UK Car).
The clunk happens regardless of steering position but tends to happen more often...

Paddles to facelift steering wheel

Has anyone added e46 smg paddles and slip ring to a facelift e53 x5 steering wheel. I know you can swap the steering wheels, but i prefer the look of the standard facelift x5 steering wheel.

Used a Ground Loop Isolator on Amp side - got rid of 95% of whine.
Will install another one on the head unit side, so hopefully it will reduce it further.

Mirrors, locks etc working now....

Yes there is a solid brown wire on X18001 - Blue Connector.
The only brown wire on X18002 - White connector is a brown with red one.
