What sensor is that? There is a solution by installing resistors that would create enough resistance to trick computer thinking it is full tank.

The boost of 335i is not an issue as long as you have oil cooler good.
Thicker oils in applications like your 335i or if you drive really hard are better. T6 has cst of 14.2 and Castrol 0W40 13.5...

I got on a sale at NAPA Valvoline 5W40 MST. Has SA level of 0.76, and HTHS of 3.7cp. Valvoline is surprisingly transparent with their oil, publishing all NOACK, HTHS, cst numbers.
