Following. I have CCC and the android 10inch unit. I want to upgrade the controller to the CIC version (need to program it to my CCC system), but I figure it will work just fine when in android mode....

As far as the backup camera goes, look in the settings, I believe there is a way to disable the camera feed and just show graphics (just switch it back).

Had my own number of issues like that, and was solved by replacing the transfer case actuator gear. It's a little plastic wheel that has the teeth wear out over time (known issue on the X platform)....
