Check the O-ring in the hose for any missing...

Check the O-ring in the hose for any missing chunks. Potentially it may have been damaged when installing. I usually smear a bit of silicon grease on them to prevent damage.

Just installed a pair yesterday. I did cut off about 1/2" of the line in fears of those ridges being problem. All good this morning.

I hope its not the FRM but if it wasn't for bad luck I would have no luck at all.. As I had a front right turn signal fault along with all the other blessings I swapped the signal bulbs left to right...

Our first E70 N62 alt lasted 140k Kms (replaced voltage regulator) our other E70 N62 made it to 110k Kms (bearing failure). At 260k you are doing well but as mentioned on borrowed time in my opinion.

I can tell you the e70 is not immune from this. Both our e53 and e70 were frozen at the same time last week. Lots of fun defrosting.

Yes I swapped out the booster and its very nice to now have positive results. It was getting extremely frustrating... Now on to valve cover and upper timing chain gaskets

Fluid level remains consistent. As I think I mentioned petal remains firm with X5 running booster vacuum unplugged. Reconnect booster vacuum pedal disappears. Thinking I may have to swap it out.
