Coolant temp read out

2009 X5 E70
I've read about how to view my coolant temp in real time. Problem is when I get the menu up, it goes away in about 2 secs and reverts back to normal key on position.
Any thoughts?

Adaptive headlight fault

I thought I posted this, not sure if it did.

2009 X5 E70 adaptive headlight fault.
Scanner says bad communication between footwell module and left and right headlights.
I don't want to throw...

PCV valve

Hi, 2009 X5 3.0si, changing valve cover gasket and others.
Tested PCV (built into valve cover) and will not hold suction.
All I've read is that it is not replaceable(must replace valve cover)....

I think your is "different" is because you have the 4 place A/C controls. In other words your tensioner has 2 pulleys attached to it. Same here.

Powered liftgate strut

Seems the power liftgate struts quit working. After basic troubleshooting, found right hand strut with an "open" during continuity check of motor.
Left side continuity is like 1-2ohms while right...
