Thumbs up Sold my wifes 4.6 & purchased her this 4.8 <pic>

I was bummed to sell my wifes 4.6is b/c she wanted something newer, so we ended up pulling the trigger on this '07 18,xxx mile 4.8i. She's happy about the switch - so all in all life is good!

I ended up selling it to a wonderful couple who will take great care of her... glad to see it! I ended up purchasing an '07 X5 4.8i in prestine condition inside/out with 18,xxx miles on the odometer....

Trust me, everytime I drive the 4.6 I always leave the car with a big grin on my face. My wife is ready for a newer ride so I guess that's the angle we're going to go... I'm looking for alternative...

I just bought an '02 4.6is - the gas milage is the same as any other SUV. I'm so thrilled to own this SAV - I'd suggest keeping it. But I understand your pain as well - heck, life is short - enjoy it...

I checked it out at Best Buy & purchased it online to save some $$$. It was 899 at best buy & I got it for 729/shipped w/ no taxes. I simply wanted to see the size first hand - it appears perfect....
