I would bet that your electric water pump has gone belly-up. They go as soon as 60k miles.

Torque values for the tension struts

Well, my X needs a pair of torque struts. The clunking has gotten worse, and the wobble during braking is starting to get out of hand.

Can't believe these parts fail at 60k miles on a $65k...

My 2012 3.5i is right at 60k miles. As a preventative maintenance, I want to replace the water pump and thermostat. I also bought a new hose that goes between the two.

I am having difficulty...
