Thanks for the info. Looked into this before, but current house has couple of limitations. Biggest issue is current garage floor is not 4" thick and questionable if reinforced with steel bar.

Anyone using quickjack lift on e70?

Fault Code 1D2008: Map thermostat: jammed open is stored in the DME. There may also be a complaint of low heat output with lower outside...

14 XDrive3.5i with 93k miles on it. Got check engine light and showing 1D2008 code in ISTA.

Code appears to be pointing to Auto Tranny cooler Thermostat stuck open, but based on some reading it...

North Carolina climate...Hot Summers, Some Winter (freezing days). X5 has now 168K miles (Panels are put in at 144K).
