oh man. I had the valley pan and all associated gaskets replaced ~4 years ago by an indy. I am guessing the "rear cover" is going to be a pain or a lot of money to replace.

This is the n62 engine. One pump that is belt driven. I replaced it about a year ago in addition to the thermostat. Sensors are still originals.

Yes i believe they are originals. So is it because the coolant temp is high due to a bad radiator? I checked the temp in hidden menu.. it was normal (107 C).

I think it's normal. My x5 does the same thing. As long as it's within 1 or 2 bars you are ok. Digitization of analog data ...there is always gonna be an error margin (+-) :) ... also oil viscosity...

Pretty much every bmw has that. Its pretty obvious when you look straight at the rear of the car. I think its done on purpose for better handling. Yes i did get uneven wear on my old set in the rear....
