Thanks for the response guys. The transmission in the 4.6is is a GM unit so no fancy ZF fluid would be needed. Correct??? And can I use Dextron VI synthetic vs normal transmssion fluid???

Thanks all for chiming in. I will check the wire harness and pull the transmission connector to see if any water is in there. The belts were all new as I replaced the when I replaced the water cooled...

I went ahead and ordered the conti belt with the 1623 mm or 63.90 inches instead of the conti at 1625.6 mm or 64 inches. There is so much room with the Gates belt on there now that I am forced to use...
