I just ordered mine X5 E70 but decided not to get the USB interface as it already has the aux input and I have the ipod myself and my kids like to plug their PSP/Nin DS in for better sound....

Transmission kick down noise
Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone has had similar noise like my 4.4i. There is a short, "rubbing" noise when the gear downshifts, particularly when the car turns corner and starts to accelerate out...

I had my K&N filter put in my 2004 4.4i about 1...
I had my K&N filter put in my 2004 4.4i about 1 year ago. To be honest, I cannot feel a huge difference but I would agree with some posts that the throttle sounds better. No improvement in mileage...

More Off-road in Australia
Hey DS,
Another X5 in Aus here. I have taken my 2004 X5 4.4 off road a few times this year with a tag-along 4WD tour company: Great divine tour and they are very impressed with the X5 off-road...
