Have the N57 on a alpine white 40d E70. Not sure if this is timing chain noise or just normal engine. Car done 80k miles only with frequent oil changes but a few missed regens so oil changes done…

Transmission problems ?
On a slope the second you take foot off and then hit accelerometer it rolls back even though it’s in gear so it jumps to park instead thinking it’s gonna roll back.
Ie the drive was not engaging...
