Effduration, I removed the straight rubber seal after I found an initial leak, so I could get in real close to the windshield to precisely locate where the actual leaks were. The seal will go back on...

Six months later and the fix has been permanent....

Six months later and the fix has been permanent. We had some snow on the coast and the X5 laughed at any trepidation I had. I really like this car!
