I think it is gone, i couldn’t see it in side. I was hoping it was there. I will look again tomorrow but I am guessing the wire is broken too, so I will have to find a connector to splice in.

I found my mini voltage meter that plugs into the cigarette lighter. I am going to plug it in and install a different battery and see what happens. That should tell me if it ever is overcharging....

Yes it was. I had already shut off the car before I found the issue, and I got it out as quick as I could as I did not want it to catch on fire in the car.

Nothing recent. Battery was replaced 18 months ago. Nothing else has changed and car has been running fine. No lights or anything on. I can put a code reader on it. Not sure if anything will show up....
