You could also try swapping around the pipes at the twin port valve to see if the other half of the heater matrix warms up.

So looking at the e70 diagram, all the hall.sensor wires are same colour as the f15 diagram.
The only difference is the additional shielding wire on the f15 strut that does not seem to connect to...

I think physically they are close enough overall, e70 strut Length from centre to centre is 522mm/ 148mm stroke and f15 is 538mm/ 138mm stroke.

Hi,

Has anyone fitted newer power tailgate struts from an f15 to their e70?

Is there any canbus compatibility issues?

I dont have an e70 wiring schematic but have one for an f15 see...
