I never done the work so I don't know how server it was.

Nearly there. It's just foaming a little now. Trying to get all the air out is proving very tiresome. I may use the vacuum pump method as I think it's my only option now.

Is it common for the reservoir caps to fail on these? I've read that it can happen, and leak fluid. If it is relatively common, that could be my issue.
