Mine don't whistle. Have you tried moving them forward or backwards a little bit. They certainly generate some wind noise with the sunroof open but suppose this is unavoidable.

It works fine without the cradle. Pairs through bluetooth etc. It is just that it won't charge which is usually fine as the battery life is long enough if you charge from home.

are not currently available as the supplier went broke. If you specify them you are in for a long delay or disappointment when in about 2 months time BMW tells you that you are not getting the car...

Petrol here is about 1.20 per litre for Diesel and about 1.10 for premium...
