I got a replacement TCU for mine from one of the sponsors of this board, EAS (http://www.europeanautosource.com/). Plug & play, cheaper than dealer, and much more trustworthy than eBay.

Forgive me if I am missing something here, but isn't this easy to figure out? Put your phone in search mode within the first few seconds of cranking up the BMW. If it finds a BT source, you have it....
