I bought a no name when I fixed wife's since it's so easy to get to and not mission critical. That was then. Usually fcpeuro has OEM for as good a price as knock off so I look there first.

Start with FSU/hedge hog. That's the #1 culprit for no good reason BMW supplies power to the thing even with key off so when it's starts to fall it can pull a lot of current when car is off.

0.2v variance is excellent. The exact values aren't as important.

I'm used to seeing a value of 13.4 ±0.2 on my OBC display but my new alternator is about 0.4v higher.
