I do not have V30 personally!I will see my BMW electrician and he will update my MKIV if the system will flash. He said there is no difference to 29.1 for the MKIV so maybe there is nothing to update...

Forget about it;) AFAIK this is a japanese Nav Unit. I'm pretty sure I have seen this unit on eBay before. There is no new or faster or whatever better MK4 then the one we all have in our cars;)...
