Tinting the windshield sounds like a good idea but I could never get away with it in California.
My Stealer wants over $60 with tax for the BMW sunshade, any better place to buy online?

Windshield Sun Shade

I am having trouble finding a sunshade to put in the windshield when I park the X, all the ones I found in autoparts stores are too short. Where are you guys buying them.

I installed the BMW hitch myself, its easy just follow the steps.
4MoJo is right its easy to scratch the bumper cover. I tried to be careful but ended up with a couple of scratches.

a 2003 3.0 X5 is considerlby cheaper than a 2006 530Xi sport wagon.
If there was a 2003 or 2004 530Xi sport wagon (yes I know there was a 2wd 2.5l wagon in 2003) it would have been a good choice but...
