Is it related to the exhaust leak. ?A friend told me that the o2 sensors think that the x is running lean ( air getting in the exhaust system) and add more fuel and kill my mpg .

2001 4.4 . Everything is normal ( power torque ) but the sound is louder than before. But if the manifold is cracked i think that o2 sensor should find the problem?

Forgot to say that the sound is more noticeable when the engine is warm. Is the exhaust manifold gasket easy to replace. (I have to lift the car to do the job?)

everything normal , no cel just a loud engine sound in the cabin ( the sound is normal from the outside). i can hear the engine working espcialy between 3000 and 6000 rpm . could it be an exhaust...
