Yesterday someone sent me a PM with the specs...
Yesterday someone sent me a PM with the specs from Bentley manual sayin 89 in.
I do have few torque wrenchs one which is in inches.
I have also bought the valve cover kit Victor Heinz it comes...

X5 Front differential
I recently bought a 2003 X5 3.0 i, I am working to catch up with all the maintenance. Hence I am posting about plugs etc on here.
I will replace the front differential, there was a dent on the seal...

Misfires
I will check that. Are you talking about that little ground wire that is bolted to one of the studs from the valve cover?
I will double check that.
I also do not like those +4 plugs :rolleyes:,...

Multiple misfires after plug change!
Ok, 2002 X5 3.01 M54 engine.
I replaced the valve cover yesterday. Since I was already there, replaced the plugs as well, I used the Bosch +4, funny thing, those were the old ones as well.

My last cheap drive axle went 145.000 on the same boots. I sold the car with the same perfect condition boot on it.

I found easier to replace the whole axle shaft.
I paid $78 for a brand new complet shaft, went to the stealership bought a brand new differential output shaft oil seal for $30
Issue resolved.

VALVE COVER GASKET BOLTS
Does anybody have a picture from the Bentley manual to post here with the torque specs and torque sequence for valve cover o M54 engine?
I did a search, I find conflicting information on the torque....
