it realy sounds like an electrical issue now, check and make sure there are no loose wires that may have accidently come off the connector. its worth a shot at this point.

I just minipulated your issue with my old lock...

I just minipulated your issue with my old lock actuator out of bmw. can you do me a favor and unplug and reconnect the electrical connector going to actuator, I think you need power going to it for...

I`m thinking its the lock actuator now, I dont know how your going to open the door . your positive your moving the linkages right on the actuator ?

just wondering if you guys tow anything with the 3.0I engine. how strong is that transmission and engine. also do you need some type of tow package to keep the tranny cool?

soon I will be doing the power steering pump, slight play in the shaft, starting to make a rattle noise only at idol, goes away as soon as you press on the gas, had my steho scope to check it out.

replace the 2 tensioner pullies and 1 idler pully, also replaced the ofhg ,it was hard as a rock and leaking badly. but you can do it without unbolting the power steering pump, i just did. its a pain...

I guess I wasn`t clear on that sorry. the old rotors had a build up of rust on them where the pads would grab, which caused the shaking.

replaced front rotors and pads to get rid of steering shake when braking at higher speeds above 80km/hr. 1hr job not to bad.

I got a cheap bmw hood emblem off flea bay and it faded out within a year. this time i got oem , you can tell, the finish is alot better.
