To Any Administrator - Log-In "Bug"

This is to advise any administrator that there is evidently a "bug" in the log-in script. I can readily log-in on the left side of the home page, but when I attempt to login-in on the upper right hand corner of any screen I am accepted, and I get the "welcome" screen, but then I find I haven't been logged-in.:(

I've noticed that on any board that has vbAdvanced :(

Same here.

I've been hitting the "Click here if you are not redirected by your broswer" link after I am accepted, which allows me to log in via the upper right corner.

i've had that problem with other boards, but not here.

i am using IE and FF latest builds, and I can login and logout via either.

you might want to clear your cache and delete the x5world and x3world cookies, and it should work.

i can log in and out at will on the home page from either the left or upper right bar, without checking remember me, and it works fine.

doesn't work on bimmerfest....

Jumping in on this thread with a question:
I stay "logged on" to X5World and several other sites I frequent; I delete cookies about once per week, which forces me to re-log on to the sites. But, for that period of time between clearing cookies, I am logged on to these sites.

Is it not "good" or not rec'd to stay "logged on" to this and other sites?

From reading above, it sounds as if many log off after each visit to this or other sites. Is that done for a reason?
Any opins or advice?
Thanks & Best Regards,
md

I keep mine logged in at all times. The only issue, from my perspective, is if you are sharing a computer and you don't want someone else posting using your screen name. I'm sure you can trust Veronica to use discretion ;)

J: Thanks for the quick reply!

That's what I thought but, wanted to check with the Experts!

I do log off when departing my financial holdings sites, just as a habit, but I keep all my other sites logged on.

And, as they say, "if you can't trust your wife, who the hell can you trust"?!

Thanks again.
